Joy Avenue festival at Shrimad Rajchandraji Marg, Opera House, Mumbai, brought together a vibrant celebration of community and creativity. The event was inaugurated by Pujya Gurudevshri and distinguished guests including Shri Bhushan Gagrani (Municipal Commissioner of BMC) and Shri Vivek Phansalkar (Police Commissioner of Mumbai).
The festival featured over 50 performances and 40 diverse activities across 36 stalls, offering free experiences for all. Sports and physical activities included pickleball, skating, kickboxing, and box cricket. Dance workshops showcased Zumba, salsa, garba, and flash mobs, with performances ranging from African-themed dance to Bharatanatyam.
Creative zones offered mandala art, chalk painting, pottery, and crafts for all ages. Wellness sections provided yoga, drum circles, seated stretches, and self-defense workshops. A special performance by differently-abled children highlighted the event’s commitment to inclusivity, with over 100 performers engaging the audience.
Live musical performances by various artists and a diverse food section featuring pretzels, coffee, Lebanese platters, and Gujarati breakfast items completed the festival. The event celebrated Mumbai’s spirit, bringing community, creativity, and joy together.
